While I may be a self-proclaimed seasoned champion of makeup, I’m aware that a lot of people are just beginning to enter the beauty world. There’s little benefit in investing in luxury products if you’re a makeup beginner or someone who is still developing their skills unless, of course, it’s for personal reasons such as allergy concerns or even for bourgeoisie reasons. Hey, I don’t judge. In fact, most of my favorite foundations are high-end (see them here), while some of my other favorite products are drugstore. Either way, you should be able to have the option to build your makeup bag in a sensible way if you please to do so.

Even if you’re not a beginner but just the thought of shelling out tons of cash for makeup doesn’t sit right with you (we are in a pandemic, people), building a makeup kit for under $100 might appeal to you, also. It is possible to build your makeup bag for under $100. They said I couldn’t do it (no one said that) but I did. Even if you’re not looking for an entire collection, maybe you’ve been searching for a good lip gloss to try or a good drugstore foundation.
